WHY ARE YOU UNHAPPY WITH YOUR LIFE?

You have a great job making good money working for a prestigious company which on paper looks amazing, right?

Yet…

Every day you go to work you can feel your soul slipping away because you know this is NOT where you belong.

You have dimmed your light all your life to fit in and let others shine brighter than you.

You wore the “mask of expectation” when you first met your current partner as well as to the job interview you had with your present employer.  They hired you based on what you showed them, which was the mask, yet that was never you.

You are not happy with your present situation and wonder why.

Let me ask you: Have you ever shown up 100% as you are without the mask?

The reason you are so unhappy is because you continue to wear your mask and you are STILL pretending to be someone you are not.  You tell people you are happy, when quite clearly you are so unhappy it’s alarming.

You are presenting yourself as someone who is a perfect fit for the job you want, and you adjusted your mask accordingly.

The company has never seen the real you, your gifts or what you can do that makes you extraordinary.

You have never given yourself permission to show up exactly as you are.

No more masks.

No more dimming your light.

That light is what will be used by God to bring other lost souls to him.

When you give yourself permission to live fearlessly, announcing this is who I am, that’s when the magic begins.

It will never happen unless you acknowledge who you truly are and let the real you out of the cage.

YOU WERE MEANT TO LEAD, NOT FOLLOW!

Stop trying to fit in, it won’t work.

I am now me, unapologetically 100% of the time.

You can’t have what you want if you’re not allowing people to see your real beauty & truth, including what your gifts.

When you block them from seeing the totality of you and your greatness, it robs all of your beauty, creativity and the core genius that you possess.

They must first be able to see and feel who you truly are and only then will they make the decision on how best to move forward.

WHY DO PEOPLE WEAR MASKS?

For most of us who have worn or still do wear a mask, we learned as a child that no one was interested in what we had to say.  We thought that we were not enough “just as we are” which is heart breaking.

When you combine unworthiness and feelings of shame, anger and being trapped, that is the perfect recipe for disaster.

For many sensitive people, empaths and HSP’s (highly sensitive people), we feel life in a totally different way.  With our gifts we see colors, can feel others pain and talk to animals or even those who have crossed over.

These are gifts sent directly from God and delivered to you when you were born.  Many gifts lay dormant until the right time approaches and then they appear out of the blue & we are clueless on how to work with them and move forward.

This is shocking and can cause stress, shame, anger, feelings of unworthiness and not being able to express ourselves causing us to withdraw from even those closest to us.

A mask is created subconsciously, and its goal is to take those negative feelings away and finally be accepted by others, allowing us to feel like we are part of something and not alone.

The reason many people wear masks is to conform to society’s expectations, playing a role instead of being true to our soul and its purpose.

The problem is that many times the mask is far from who we are.  It can feel like a character and role you are playing and that’s where the danger is.

To dismantle a mask, you need to understand why you are using it and come to grips with this shield that protects the “real you”.  Most people wear masks to bring them closer to their goals and that they won’t feel any negativity, judgment or friction like they feel without it on.

Note: Some of you may not be ready to take your mask off.  It’s ok, there is no rush but the sooner you can allow the real you to shine, the more connected you will feel and be.

To get rid of the mask, ask yourself some deep questions that will help you relax and know that you are good enough to do things on your own.

Questions to think about are:

What part of me am I afraid to show?

What will happen if I show up that way?

Am I truly happier without it than with it on?

There is a strong danger when working with masks and that is you are losing touch with your authentic self.

To live authentically requires courage.  Taking off the mask allows you to not have to live by society’s expectations & conditions giving your authentic self some much needed room to think about next steps.

Remember, you are not your past.  This is your time to shine and the best way to do that is by showing up authentically as much as possible.

Sending you loads of light.
