A PAINFUL INCIDENT THAT SET ME FREE TO USE MY GIFTS

Have you ever been hurt so deeply that it actually felt like your heart was almost fatally crushed?

This true story is a reminder that we need to stand in our power and know who we are.  We are here to change the world and make a difference.  It can be hard won to take this kind of ground in your life, but I am hoping this will touch you in a positive way so that you will know how special you are.

I am an Animal Translator, and I have loved animals since I was 3 years old.

I grew up with cats and dogs, but I have always been inspired by horses.  Horses have been in my life for many moons, and they have been my greatest teachers for love, self-respect and boundaries.  Their power is unmatched, yet their greatest strength is helping in forgiveness & healing others.

Horses are very large and all have different personalities.  All animals are just like people. Some are funny, others not so much.  They all have different voices, just picture how individual each human is - it’s the same in the horse world.

A couple of years ago I was in the barn when one of the horses reached out & wanted to speak with me.

I went over to his stall and since I had never had a chat with him before, I put my outstretched hand under his nose to say hello.  He was just about to ask me a question when a woman who shall remain nameless, came around the corner and saw me in front of his stall.

She said in a very loud voice: “Oh HELL NO MA’AM!  You get away from that horse right now! What do you think you are doing!”

I was so shocked that I turned and looked at her with my mouth open saying What?”

She said, “You get away from that horse right now!  He is a special & you are not to go near that horse!”

I was so shocked and hurt that she or anyone would think I could harm an animal that I said, “No I won’t ever speak to him again.”  I ran out of the barn and got to my car where I burst into tears.

Here I was helping a horse who had asked to speak with me, and she stopped the communication all together.  Her energy was harmful, toxic and it felt like I’d been physically hit.

I drove home and thought about this amazing gift of speaking to animals.  Many people now understand and identify with this gift, yet the vast majority of people still roll their eyes due to their conditioning.

God said, “What you do scares her because she has never seen it.  When people are scared, they act erratically.”

The larger problem was that now I was very much questioning my gifts.  It had hurt me, so I had done what I always do which is pull back and away from everyone.  

I am at the barn daily and for months I would go out of my way to not be near her. 

I had gone from being hurt and upset to mad.

Except for talking with my horse, I had not spoken to anyone until I figured out how to move forward.

I asked God what he wanted me to do.  He said, go speak with her and explain in a gentle voice what was happening. 

This I did NOT want to do.

God explained to me that she was frightened and had no idea what I was doing.  She believed she was protecting the horse because she is nowhere near where you are on your ascension walk.  She saw and thought you were doing something evil when in reality, you are doing my work, God’s work.

Ok Lord, I will do it.

The next day, I pulled her aside and spoke with her privately.  I explained to her that I am an Animal Translator and that I was saying hello to the horse at his request.  I would never hurt an animal and that this horse had called me over.  I was only saying hi.  Did she understand?

I got a “UH-HUH!!!” With attitude.  She said, no, she did not understand, nor was she comfortable with it. 

I said no problem and walked away.

I knew I could not change her mind and decided to leave it in God’s hands.

A few months later she apologized and said exactly what God had told me – she was scared.  That gave me the perfect opportunity to let her know it ‘s a gift and a good one only meant to heal.  Our relationship resumed and life went on.

Why am I telling you this and why should you care?

This particular incident, although extremely painful, taught me a few lessons which are now one of the most important foundations I use to move forward. 

Firstly, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU FROM USING YOUR GIFTS.

All gifts come from God and are placed in you for a reason.  Even if others are not comfortable with what you are doing, as long as you are helping others and using it to better the world – keep going. 

Secondly, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF & YOUR TALENTS.

That is what makes you special and UNFORGETTABLE! 

We must go through the pain of doubting ourselves and having others potentially laugh and discredit what we do to make a difference.  You cannot control others or make them change their minds.  The only thing you can do is tell them what’s happening and let them see your gentle heart.  Then leave it at that.

If you are changing directions in your life and either starting a new company or getting back into art or what you love, it’s never too late.  It matters not the age or where you live.  All that counts is your desire to support this planet and all in it in your own special way.

Please remember that if you have a big mission and are just about to make that dream real, the devil will be spiritually attacking you to hold you down and keep you quiet.  Do not let him win and keep going.
